The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:
Analyze and make recommendations for hardware & software standardization

Keep abreast of new technology and continuous development

Identify training needs and conduct training to assist user adoption of new technology or service

Monitor service quality and levels and make improvements to the support team

Manage projects on equipment upgrades and new services roll-out

Lead a small team of Technical Support members to support PCs, Notebooks, Tablets, Mobile and other endpoint devices

Provide hands-on assistance to the team for complex technical issues

Track IT assets of installed hardware & software, manage software licensing, and maintain policies & procedures for upgrades

Manage IT assets lifecycle and collaborate with other department/teams timely to replenish equipment

Work with hardware & software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule

The Person

The ideal candidate should have/be:
Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

5 years relevant working experience with at least 1-year supervisory role in IT related industries

Familiar with Microsoft Cloud Saa S (Office 365), Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications

Provide technical assistance to onsite VIP support or remote large-scale businesses

Experience in supporting desktop PCs, wireless mobile devices, and other office applications is preferable

Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin

Willing to learn and work with other team members for optimizing the team’s performance

Supervise a small technical team and provide timely feedback to them for their development

Customer service oriented and equip with problem-solving skills
