This job requires Project Management (PM) mindset: handling complex information, technical knowledge, customer understanding. For this job travel, OR presence is required. Representing the latest innovation of Medtronic to the customers, also in different conferences with sales and technical attitude. There are administrative requirements as well, reporting line is for the Capital Leader in Hungary.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
  • Build strategic relationships while engaging tactically within divisional or departmental groups to develop and successfully close capital equipment, servicing and spares business opportunities.
  • Seek out new business opportunities within the territory – Business Development and maintain existing accounts.
  • Seek out and build business relationships with KOL’s in our industry.
  • Own the development of opportunities through to receipt of Purchase Order and ensure detailed and thorough transition to Life Science Projects or Service teams.
  • Coordinate and prepare meetings and presentations for both external customers and internal business partners.
  • Meet and consistently exceed all sales targets set by the business.
  • Work closely with customers and external partners to offer insightful and educational learning sessions to stay ahead of the curve on new opportunities within the segment.
  • Feed back to the business on market trends to enable future business strategy development.
  • Develop territory marketing strategies in order that we enhance our market presence.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • A successful track record selling capital equipment with a proven and demonstrable track record of consistently selling and closing new business is an advantage
  • A successful track record of maintaining and developing existing customer accounts.
  • A strong understanding of the sales process, competent in managing multi-level, complex sales opportunities. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to technically convey knowledge of products and solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong organisational and analytical skills. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills (Hu/English)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
  • Self-driven and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and to deadlines
  • Team player. Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
