In 2024, we’ll be focusing on making our business cash flow profitable. We’ll also be radically improving our product for our core customer base. In the UK, we now have over 1.6 million registered users, and we offer a range of products such as the Freetrade Pension, a stocks and shares ISA, and UK Treasury bills.

To ensure investing feels accessible and our customers enjoy a great experience it’s vital we have a top quality team on hand to support. Our Hungarian customer service team will help new and prospective investors with a range of queries - from navigating our app to understanding some of the complexities of investing. No prior investment knowledge is required, full training will be provided. It’s a great chance to learn about investments.

As it’s a new team you’ll play a part in building ways of working that make the team environment engaging, effective and fun.

The role will be office based with some flexibility for some home base time. You’ll therefore need to have a dedicated and comfortable space to work from home and good quality internet with a minimum speed of 10mb per second.

We expect most people to work Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 (or equivalent) however flexible shifts are available 7 days a week, including early morning and evening if this suits you - please let us know at the point of application if this is of interest.
You will:
  • Be some of the first Customer Service employees in our new Hungary Customer Operations Team!
  • Be the first point of contact for customers with questions - answering these directly or escalating complex matters as appropriate.
  • Assist our predominantly UK customers, in English, through chat and email.
  • Build a broad understanding of our app and UK, European and US investments, before having the potential to specialise.
  • Help us refine how our colleagues in UK and Hungary can work together most effectively, and best support one and other.
  • Come up with ideas to improve processes and proactively support our customers.
  • Join a high performing international team, where we balance speed, care, effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

The application process consists of 3 stages: an initial interview with one of our Talent Specialists, followed by a meeting with the Hiring Manager, and concluding with an Executive Interview with the CEO, where we also assess your cultural fit.
