In the Hungarian development center with our engineering team of 1000 we are present as an innovative and significant partner in one of the fastest growing and most exciting segment of the automotive industry, in the field of electromechanical steering systems. With outstanding quality and high-tech developments we meet the needs of renowned car manufacturers and our developments can be found in 25 % of the manufactured cars all over the world. Our engineers work on new challenges that can change the future of automotive.

Your responsibilities

• Provides effective leadership and management for leaders to ensure the success of product development and program execution. Evolves agile approach in the tribe members.
• Defines strategic goals on tribe level and ensures that strategies and processes of the tribe are in line with the business objectives. Defines, monitors, adjusts the annual target for the tribe and its members and evaluates its fulfillment.
• Delivers the content/WP committed by the tribe on time and with required maturity and in efficient manner. Supports projects during the acquisition phase with work product definition, effort estimation, resource planning and by conducting feasibility studies.
• Ensures continuous alignment and improvement of the tribe’s resources in order to support the technological and competence needs. Plans, monitors and adjusts the headcount planning with the help of the line managers, chapter leads and scrum masters.
• Plans and controls the cost center budget as well as takes care of the necessary investments.
• Working with Chapter Leads and Process Owners, facilitates continuous, harmonized improvement in their area e.g. making sure that all processes, methods, and tools are state-of-the-art, and the competency of the tribe reflects the company’s technology and process roadmap.
• Supports EEF in customer communication and delivery content definiton.
• Ensures that tribe is operating in alignent with the Company framework (process system).
• Ensures communication between the org and the tribe and within the tribe.

Your profile

• Bsc or Msc degree, preferably in Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in leading a department of at least 50 people
• Software development project management practice
• Fluent English knowledge (both written and spoken)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
• Team player
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Determined personality
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
