DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Java Developer to work in the The Collateral Optimizer Team that develops and maintains IT systems to enable the Secured Financing, Securities Lending, and OTC derivatives businesses to optimally fund the Firm.

Develop resilient and highly scalable cloud friendly systems operating in today's demanding financial environment

Learn about the newest technologies offered by fresh startups covering our industry

Deploy solutions for and partner with our users: Bank Resource Management and various Operations teams

QUALIFICATIONS

What you'll bring to the role:

Bachelor or higher degree in a STEM field

User level knowledge of Unix/Linux

Experience using relational databases (SQL)

Strong communication skills with proven ability to deliver high-quality software working in multi-person teams

1-2 years of experience with Java, primarily within server-side development

Good understanding of multi-threaded Java programming
