About The Role
At Grayling Hungary, we are looking for a candidate with a passion for politics and a desire to jump start their career as part of our public affairs team, where you will have the opportunity to work on a number of market-leading international client assignments. Our client base spans a wide range of sectors including industry, technology, and manufacturing. The role requires solid political knowledge and judgment, as well as an understanding of Hungarian and European Union policy processes and procedures. Good communication and presentation skills are also required. The role has a particular focus on Hungarian politics and responsibilities will include support in client servicing and problem solving, political and policy monitoring, researching and writing.

The day to day
The position of Junior Consultant is varied but daily tasks will involve:

• Supporting your line manager, the Director of Public Affairs Division, with the delivery of the full range of services for our Public Affairs accounts
• Ensuring that the quality of work we deliver for all our clients is always of the highest standard and that we maintain client satisfaction
• Support to senior team members in proactive consultancy to clients; this will require keeping up-to-date with relevant business and political developments
• Daily contact with your clients
• Attending and contributing to client meetings
• Organising client events
• Drafting policy briefings and providing daily and weekly intelligence reports for our clients
• Connects with colleagues from across the global Grayling network, leveraging opportunities to work together to enhance professional development and learning
• Contributing to our departmental marketing strategy and set-piece Grayling events
