Sales Executive Road Freight Forwarding

Orbit Streem Kft (or OB-Streem as it will be renamed) is seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive with a passion for sales, customer service & business development to join our team in Hungary.

As a Sales Executive specializing in Road Freight Forwarding, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the road transportation sector through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and other sales techniques.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, tracking progress and activities in a CRM system.
  • Develop customized solutions to meet transportation needs of potential clients, addressing factors such as cost, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations and customer service to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable agreements while maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations, serving as a trusted advisor on transportation matters.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets reporting progress and results regularly to sales management.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and new business development within the road freight sector.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that effectively showcase the benefits and features of our road freight services.
  • Meet or exceed sales quota as defined by the company.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Requirements
  • Passion for sales, hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative new opportunities and deliver targets.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the road transportation field.
  • Strong understanding of transportation logistics, including modes of transportation, routing, freight rates, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Advanced business writing and verbal skills both in Hungarian and English.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license.

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field. Degree in Shipping / Supply Chain / Logistics will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in the supply chain or logistics industry.
