Job Summary
We are looking for our new team member to the Finance Hub in Budaörs, who will support the local as well as other Tetra Pak legal entities within Europe.
This position requires you to provide accurate information for financial reporting and have good understanding of processes within own area of responsibility. Our preferred candidate works independently within established procedures and practices.
This is a temporary position with 1.5 year fixed-term contract. You will be based in Budaörs, Hungary.

What you will do
- Bank booking and bank query pack handling.
- Strong collaboration with our service provider (outsourcing company).
- Direct debit collections, payment advice, handling queries with customer related to collection, proper set up of direct debit in SAP.
- Process manual payments in bank.
- Bank and cash pool statements reconciliation.
- Clearing accounts, remittance in transit.
- Customer balance reconciliation and follow up, dunning the customers.
- Re-billing of services.
- Improvement of OTC process.
- Implementing and maintaining best practices and control framework requirements of the relevant process.
- Working on process improvement related KPIs.
- Performing accounting tasks that require expertise and business understanding.
- Implementing new processes/ tools and trains juniors appropriately.
- Taking on the Business Expert role (the first line of support; drives continuous improvement; resolves cross-process issues; collaborates with global process teams for process reviews, projects, and local requirements; participates in testing & validation of changes to processes and systems).
- Handling interactions with external and internal partners.
- Typically involved in one or in some cases several processes e.g. Ot C, Pt P, or Rt R for one or multiple entities in different countries.
We believe you have
- University/College degree in Accounting or Economics,
- 2-4 years of work experience in OTC area,
- SAP - FI knowledge is an advantage,
- Strong MS Office knowledge,
- Chartered Accountant is an advantage,
- Fluency in Hungarian and English,
- Good business understanding and analytical skills,
- Proactive, driven personality.
