About this opportunity
Product Development Unit Cloud, Common & Solutions (PDU CLCS) is a development organization within the Business Area Cloud Software & Services (BCSS). PDU CLCS is a cornerstone of the Ericsson platforms and components strategy and develops components, products and microservices used by applications across Ericsson as part of the Application Development Platform (ADP).
The Application Development Platform (ADP) Framework is the approved way forward for developing cloud native applications within Ericsson, following a modern design pattern (microservice architecture based on containers). For more information, check out the career site here.
We are now looking for an ADP Microservice Developer to take part in developing, maintaining, and delivering high quality software in the Data management area, focusing on the development of Object Storage MN generic service. The microservice provides a persistent, S3-compatible Object Storage server on Kubernetes, packaged as a Helm Chart. It is an Ericsson-specific integration of the Min IO 3pp.
Your role will include activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation.
Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement and innovation is part of the daily work.

What You will do
- Analyze and handle evolving requirements to deliver impactful solutions
- Design, develop, and test innovative, high-quality products
- Provide expert troubleshooting and deliver exceptional customer support
- Drive continuous improvements in products, processes, and team efficiency
- Expand your technical expertise and grow in a cutting-edge domain
You will bring
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Go programming language
- Experience with Linux environment and scripting languages like bash, python
- Experience in the use of development management systems and build tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit, Git
- Experience in designing cloud native microservices using Docker and deploying in Kubernetes using Helm
- A passion for mentoring and coaching, with the ability to share your expertise and inspire the team to reach its full potential
It's an advantage if you have
- Experience with Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3)
- Experience with the ecosystem of Kaa S Clusters
- Experience with Robot test framework
