Engineering Mid-Senior level

• Become proficient in the Apache Flink and Cloudera products that are built on this technology
• Design, implement and test new features and improvements of the Cloudera Streaming Analytics product suite for on-premise and cloud
• Release Cloudera Streaming Analytics product suite for on-premise and cloud, continuously improving the delivery pipeline
• Work in a cross-functional software development team covering all aspects of software product delivery to deliver high-quality, secure and maintainable software
• Work with product management, engineering, support, UX, and documentation teams to deliver high-quality products for on-premise and cloud
• Support our field team and customers to help product adoption and implement their use cases smoothly.

• BS/MS in computer science and/or 5+ years of work experience
• Experience in building scalable, robust distributed software systems
• Strong Java skills and proficiency with the whole Java ecosystem
• Proficiency in using SQL
• Strong understanding of the software design/architecture process
• Experience with delivery pipeline tools, CI/CD solutions, automated testing
• Self-driven and motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship
• Strong written and verbal English and communication skills

• Experience with Apache Flink, Spark and/or Kafka
• Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with containerization orchestration technologies: Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with Python
