BU / FUNCTION DESCRIPTION :
Responsible to process the group companies Payroll activites from end to end
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Expertise knowledge on payroll process
Ø Maintaining confidentiality of the payroll related information
Ø Knowledge on handling the Restricted stock options and ESPP
Ø Experience in handling Income tax and Witholding Tax etc
Ø Updated Knowledge on other Statutory payments like PF/ESI/Profession Tax etc
Ø Meeting the deadline of remitting multiple locations employees salary and other statutory payments
Ø Handling the employees internal queries and external queries from Government
Ø Managing the internal and external auditors related to payroll activities
Ø Co-ordinating with HR team and payroll related vendors
Ø Managing the quarterly/annual IT returns (24Q) and other statutory returns and corrections if any
Ø Annually Issuing Form 16 to the employees
Ø Reconciliation and schedule preparation of payroll related General Ledger accounts
Ø Passing monthly Journal entries like Payroll entry, and other Accrual entries
Ø Updated Knowledge of Income tax and other Statutory payments
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:
o Any Degree with relevant work experience.
COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Minimum one or two years’ experience in India Payroll processing activities
