Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Librarian to join our team at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women in Coimbatore. This is a full-time junior position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in library management. The selected candidate will assist in maintaining library services, ensuring effective organization, and providing support to students and staff in accessing library resources.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the library, including the organization and management of library materials.
• Provide comprehensive cataloging and classification services for all library resources.
• Offer reference and information retrieval services to help students and staff access required information.
• Support the shelving of books and other materials, maintaining an orderly and easily navigable library.
• Manage and update library databases to track the availability and usage of resources.
• Assist in research activities and guide library users in their academic pursuits.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all library patrons.
• Collaborate with other library staff to develop and implement library policies and procedures for enhanced library services.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
