We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President: Business Consulting - Wholesale
Principal Responsibilities
- Convert business problem to an analytical problem. Guide a team of individuals to provide solution to the analytical problem for multiple businesses/regions.
- Identify business problems/new opportunities to drive higher business value. Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex analytical problems.
- End to end project management & hands on delivery when required.
- Providing high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to business problems.
- Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards. Also drive business benefit through self-initiated projects.
- Apply analytical skills to extract information from data and translate into business language.
- Implement best solutions within decision systems, satisfying user requirements.
- Use of data to improve customer outcomes through the provision of insight and challenge.
- Articulate complex situations and technical work to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage integration of on-premises solutions to the global blueprint
- 7+ years of hands-on analytics experience solving complex business problems using data.
- A degree in MBA with bachelor’s in Engineering / master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other numerical discipline, equivalent with relevant work experience in Data related technologies
- Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.
- Knowledge of forecasting and statistical modelling techniques, market research and multivariate analysis tools (e.g., factor and cluster analysis, conjoint analysis etc.) is a plus.
- Strong programming skills and sound knowledge of Python, SQL or other equivalent analytical tools is required. Knowledge of Qlik Sense will be preferred.
- Ability to transform a business problem to a data problem is required.
- Previous experience in data commercialization will be advantageous.
- Conduct in depth reviews and analyzing data from reports to deliver observations, detail changes and identify the root cause.
- Strong analytical and curious mindset and ability to deliver despite multiple challenges
