The Shop Helper position is super important to us. This person is the backbone of our shops. Yes, you are responsible for the lowest-grade jobs…even cleaning the toilet. But, you and your work are also the face of our company! You interact with our amazing clients while giving them shuttle rides. This job also includes driving to pick up parts, basic facility maintenance, and keeping our shop and client lounge spotless! You will also get to drive some amazing high-end cars to check for quality control of repairs and to verify if issues have been corrected by the Technicians.
Responsibilities:

• Follow a daily cleaning routine for the shop and client lounge.
• Operating a floor scrubber, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, windows, restroom, filters,equipment fluid changes to name a few.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of cleaning supplies and consumables.
• Maintain the readiness of the Courtesy Car fleet, including cleanliness and fuel levels.
• Monitor for service indicators on the dash and notify front-end staff when due.
• Make occasional parts runs Drive clients to their homes or to a local business (Shuttle Driver)Drive client's cars for the purpose of testing miles and quality control.
• Various maintenance projects around the shop and property.
• Assist technicians when asked.

Requirements:

• A+ problem solving aptitude Ability to carry tires & wheels, up to 75 Ibs. each, up and down stairs
• Diverse skill-set including mechanical aptitude and people skills
• Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and pass a background check.
