Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Blockchain Developer based in India to join our growing technology team. This
role will involve designing and developing the blockchain infrastructure that will underpin our apprenticeship
tracking system, integrating digital wallets, and ensuring that the system can securely and efficiently validate
and certify apprenticeship progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain
technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (DApps), with a focus on building solutions that
meet both U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and European Union (EU) compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Blockchain Development:
○ Design, develop, and implement blockchain-based solutions to track apprenticeship progress
across multiple industries and locations.
○ Create and integrate a digital wallet system, ideally compliant with European Union
regulations, to securely store and manage apprentice credentials.
2. Apprenticeship Tracking System:
○ Build a robust system to track apprenticeship progress, including the validation of work and
training experiences through third-party integrations or internal manual reviews.
○ Ensure the platform complies with U.S. Department of Labor requirements for apprenticeship
tracking and certification.
3. Smart Contracts:
○ Develop and deploy smart contracts that automate the validation and certification of
apprenticeship milestones.
○ Ensure smart contracts are secure, efficient, and auditable.
4. Integration and API Development:
○ Develop APIs to integrate with existing systems for validating work and training experience.
○ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other platforms and
services.
5. Security and Compliance:
○ Implement best practices for blockchain security to protect user data and credentials.
○ Ensure the platform adheres to relevant regulatory requirements, particularly in the EU and
the U.S., regarding digital wallets and data privacy.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
○ Collaborate with developers, project managers, and legal advisors to ensure the successful
delivery of blockchain solutions.
○ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on
project progress.
Qualifications:
● Experience:
○ 3+ years of experience in blockchain development, with a strong understanding of blockchain
technologies such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar platforms.
○ Proven experience in developing and deploying smart contracts.
○ Experience in building and managing digital wallets, with familiarity with EU regulations.
● Technical Skills:
○ Proficiency in blockchain programming languages such as Solidity, Go, or Rust.
○ Strong understanding of cryptography, decentralized applications (DApps), and blockchain
protocols.
○ Experience with API development and system integration.
○ Familiarity with EU and U.S. regulations regarding digital wallets and data privacy.
● Soft Skills:
○ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
○ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
○ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
● Education:
○ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with apprenticeship or workforce development systems.
● Familiarity with the U.S. Department of Labor's apprenticeship programs and requirements.
● Previous experience working on compliance-related projects.
