Position Overview: As a Product Developer, you will be instrumental in creating new skincare and haircare products, guiding projects from initial concept to successful market launch. You will leverage your extensive industry experience to create exceptional products, collaborate with third-party manufacturers, and ensure that our product offerings meet the highest standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing content related to our products on the website.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and refinement of skincare and haircare products that align with our brand’s vision and meet market demands. Utilise your expertise to drive the development process from concept through to final formulation.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with internal teams and third-party manufacturers to ensure successful product launches.
• Work closely with third-party manufacturers to ensure seamless production of new products. Manage the scaling up of production, address any issues, and ensure the quality of the final products.
• Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in skincare and haircare ingredients. Integrate innovative ingredients and technologies into product formulations to maintain a competitive edge.
• Develop and manage content related to skincare and haircare products on the company’s website. Ensure that product information is accurate, engaging, and aligned with our brand messaging.
• Conduct research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive analysis. Use this information to guide product development and project planning.
• Ensure that all products meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks. Address any product performance or safety issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in new product development (NPD) within the skincare and/or haircare industry.
• Proven track record of successfully developing skincare and/or haircare products.
• In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, their benefits, and their interactions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for skincare and haircare products.
