We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Lead Architect

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Lead Architect
In this role, you will:

- Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement, and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer, or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators. Implement and observe architecture internal control standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors. Foster a compliance culture and implement Information Technology Policy by managing architecture risks and diligently executing ratified the relevant architecture processes and proactive management of Technical Debt.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group's standards of ethical behaviour

- Good understanding of Business Architecture and Enterprise architecture disciplines.
- Working knowledge of Solution Architect.
- Awareness of and interest in emerging technologies, particularly in FS
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry would be an advantage.
- Ability to define, maintain, and own enterprise architecture roadmaps, blueprints, and plans, ensuring alignment to HSBC business and IT strategy, and supporting the overarching Design Authority across major change initiatives in Wholesale Technology.
- Provide end-to-end ownership of key technology solutions delivered to meet requirements, delivering the architecture required to realize both functional and non-functional capabilities.
- Stay abreast of technology and/or data and analytic trends and advise Technology, DAO and the business about potential benefits/impacts.
- Ensure IT principles, technology standards and the best practices are applied correctly.
- Ability to create clear, concise proposals for solutions and broker agreements across multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrates excellent situational awareness and ability to appropriately react to a changing landscape.
- Performance driven nature and excellent problem-solving capability.
- Ability to understand and further explain complex technical concepts.
- Challenge the status quo and bring innovative ideas and ways of working.
- Simplify the IT estate
- Good understanding of latest technologies, including cloud, microservices, event platforms, API, and security concepts.
- Awareness of AI and its application
- EA tooling and capabilities such as Bizz Design, Archimate to visualize the roadmaps
- Aris for Process and Capability modeling for business models
