Job Description
What you'll do:
- Design, Develop, and Maintain: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++ to develop new features, enhance existing functionalities, and maintain the stability of our software products.
- System Architecture: Collaborate with architects and other developers to design and implement robust and scalable system architectures.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing code for performance, memory usage, and scalability.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex software bugs and issues in a timely manner.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, Dev Ops, and Product Management, to deliver high-quality software on time.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in C++ development and apply them to enhance our development processes.
What makes you a great fit:
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Proficiency: Deep understanding of C++11/14/17 standards, including modern C++ features and best practices.
- Tools and Frameworks: Experience with C++ development tools such as GCC, Clang, Visual Studio, and familiarity with frameworks like Boost or Qt.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in developing applications for multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux, or mac OS.
- Multithreading: Solid understanding of multithreading and parallel processing concepts, with experience in writing and optimizing multithreaded code.
- Algorithms and Data Structures: Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Version Control: Proficient with version control systems like Git, including branching and merging strategies.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and take initiative on individual tasks
