Position Summary: Tecnia Institute of Advance studies is seeking an accomplished and visionary academic leader to serve as Dean of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The Dean will provide strategic leadership, academic direction, and administrative oversight for all aspects related to ICT disciplines within the university. This position presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of ICT education, research, and innovation at one of India's premier universities.
Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership and Program Development:
Lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of academic programs in ICT, ensuring alignment with university goals and industry needs.
Promote excellence in teaching, research, and service among faculty members and students.
Foster a culture of academic integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the ICT department.
Research and Innovation:
Drive research initiatives and promote interdisciplinary collaborations in ICT-related fields.
Support faculty and student research endeavors, securing funding and resources where applicable.
Enhance the university's reputation as a center of excellence in ICT research and innovation.
Industry and Community Engagement:
Establish and nurture partnerships with industry leaders, government agencies, and community organizations to enhance opportunities for internships, collaborative research, and technology transfer.
Promote ICT programs and initiatives externally to attract funding, partnerships, and support.
Student Success and Experience:
Enhance student engagement, success, and satisfaction through effective academic advising, mentoring, and career development programs.
Ensure the availability of resources and facilities that support student learning and research in ICT disciplines.
Administrative Oversight and Resource Management:
Manage departmental budgets, resources, and facilities effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
Ensure compliance with university policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education: A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
Experience: Substantial academic leadership experience in a university setting, with a record of achievement in teaching, research, and administration. Previous experience as a department head, associate dean, or equivalent is preferred.
