Job Description

Position: Senior Engineer-Design

Required Skill Set:

• Full time bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 8+ years of experience in an Engineering/Design Organization from Aerospace/Automobile domain.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in UG NX is mandatory.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering Manager / Project Engineer by daily meetings to drive design Reviews, for understanding customer requirements, get clarification on open items & plan deliveries with their agreement.
• Perform design, modeling and drafting for Machined, Sheet metal, Plastic and Composite Parts.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA, Tolerance Analysis, Material Selection and hardware selection is required.
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and methods is also necessary.
• Understanding the application of materials in product design in relation to the Life Cycle and Reliability is important.
• Responsible for maintaining KPI’s for the assigned program and report project status to all the stakeholders.
• Open to learn, good communication skills & result oriented individual. Should be willing to work in dynamic environment.
• Desirable – Manufacturing exposure, Aero/Auto seating design, Teamcenter.
• A high level of analytical ability and innovativeness is desirable.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering.
• Desired Experience: 8 to 12 years.
