- Role Overview: Manage and lead a team of equity analysts responsible for researching and evaluating investment opportunities within specific sectors or markets.
- Research Strategy: Develop and implement research strategies to identify potential investment opportunities based on fundamental analysis of companies, industries, and market trends.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis including financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting to assess the financial health and investment potential of companies.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors that may impact investment decisions.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on research methodologies, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Client Communication: Communicate research findings and investment recommendations to internal stakeholders such as portfolio managers and external clients.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with potential investments, considering factors like liquidity, credit, operational, and market risks.
- Investment Recommendations: Formulate and present clear and concise investment recommendations based on rigorous analysis and research findings.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders to gather insights and enhance research capabilities.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in conducting research and making investment recommendations.
