Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail meat cutting, particularly in supermarket or club store setting. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and packaging meat products while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize knives and other cutting equipment to portion and prepare meat products
- Package and label meat products for display or storage
- Ensure all meats are handled and stored properly to maintain freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cutting area
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience supermarket meat production environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong knife skills for precise cutting and portioning
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Familiarity with different cuts of meat and their uses
