Role & responsibilities:
Job Overview: The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, installation, and maintenance services for marine equipment for the Indian Navy. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service excellence. The Service Engineer will work closely with customers to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction with our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to niche electrical products/systems.
• Perform on-site or remote troubleshooting and repairs.
• Provide guidance and support to customers for proper operation and maintenance.
• Installation and Setup:
• Install and configure systems according to company specifications.
• Conduct initial tests and quality checks to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide training to customers on product usage and maintenance.
• Maintenance and Upgrades:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on systems.
• Implement upgrades and modifications as required.
• Keep detailed records of service activities and parts used.
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to customers regarding technical issues and solutions.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Track and manage service-related inventory and equipment.
• Report recurring issues or product defects to the engineering team for further analysis.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations.
• Ensure all service activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.
