Job Title: Junior IT Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)
Position Type: Long term Contract
Assigned candidate will assist Infosys for the completion of the following tasks:
1. Collect laptops both new and old from storage rooms within the office and carry out OS imaging as per procedure and make laptops ready for shipment at the designated imaging stations
2. Perform necessary packing for the safe delivery of the hardware and process the shipment using the shipment system and drop off to the courier room located within office in Indianapolis
3. Make sure that all packing materials and accessories necessary for shipment are available in advance and inform Infosys manager if there is short of supply in advance for smooth operation.
4. Organize the shipment room with shipment related assets in a professional way, keep the trash in the designated area.
5. Ensure safe handling of assets till it leaves Quincy
6. Communicate with the rest of the team on requirements for getting the necessary support to ensure targets are fulfilled
7. Participate as a team to move the assets to the stock room when bulk package delivery happens in the work location from the unloading dock
8. Handle all the assets with utmost care to avoid any kind of damage while handling.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in information Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
