BC forward is currently seeking a highly motivated Lab Technician/Assistant for an opportunity in Indianapolis, IN !
Position Title: [Lab Technician]

Expected Duration: [3 months with possible extension]
Shift: Mon- Fri 2pm to 10:30pm
Pay Range: $18-21/hr

Job Description:
Must be able to follow direction & perform repetitive production activities.
All training and instructions typically given on the job.
Proficiency is attained in a short time on the job.
Skills:

• Prepare Samples for an perform Organic Matter Assay via Automated Multi-Place Balance Robot
• Prepare Samples for an perform p H and Lime Index Assays via Automated Multi-Place p H Probe Robot
• Responsible for working with NIR instruments and floating in the laboratory when needed
• Evaluate Results for Quality Program Compliance based on Established Protocols
• Perform Basic Instrument Preparation and Troubleshooting
• Perform data entry and documentation
• Job Requirements
• Science Background preferred with BS or AS. The candidate could also be a college student working toward a degree.

Education: high school diploma or equivalent Steel Toed Shoes Required.Benefits:
