We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Vice President -Business Consulting
Principal Responsibilities:
- Business Consulting job family is structured to address end-to-end business needs. Members of this Job Family are differentiated by their capability of providing the required consultation & work with end-business by way of assessing the requirements, identifying the right analytical solution that can solve for the business problem, and developing the same for execution – often covering areas of business growth, improving customer experience, limiting risk exposure, enhancing internal business processes etc. They are required to, as necessary, embed agile & exploratory practices into their approach as needed, and retain the flexibility to change track to adopt other solutions based on changed scenarios, to deliver key business outcomes. This talent group can be tapped into for providing solutions for varying areas including improving existing processes, technology, and approaches by embedding exploratory & analytics & taking it forward with a consulting mind set.
- Develop and execute a product strategy for AI product built – the entire data science workflow from data analysis to transformation to training and tuning a model to evaluation and assessment of models while making sure that all AI artifacts are governed and can be put into production.
- Oversee multiple product cycles for the same product, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to market dynamics. Lead the development of cutting-edge AI tools using ML, enabling users to build machine learning models efficiently and effectively. Spearhead initiatives to optimize data workflows and infrastructure, ensuring seamless access to high-quality data for ML projects.
- Collaborate with peer functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful development and launch of features. Working closely with the Platform team to implement key capabilities for Training, Inference etc. Prioritize features and enhancements that drive value for customers using input from cross-functional leaders. Engage with stakeholders and industry leaders to understand their evolving needs and challenges in ML development, data management and adoption.
- Incorporate feedback into product development efforts to deliver solutions that address real-world use cases. Depth of knowledge in industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in Generative and Predictive AI and AI Lifecycle
- Drive the development of data preparation, feature engineering, data management, training, finetuning, prompt engineering, comparison, evaluation, and assessment capabilities. Attract and secure world-class talent for your team and the broader organization. Mentor & develop teams and inspire the growth of top talents.
- Promote robust operational risk management culture within the team. Continuously monitor key risks and proactively ensures required controls are in place to address the same. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Promote speak-up culture and outstanding behaviour in the team; ensure adherence to the Group Values.
Requirements
- 16+ years of Experience in the data science & analytics domain with strong Business Consulting capabilities. Masters / Management / Ph D or equivalent degree from reputed University / Institution on quantitative fields such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, data engineering, finance, economics etc. Ability to lead a team, set strategic direction, and align analytics efforts with business goals.
- Proven expertise in using statistical & ML algorithms for solving diverse business problems to generate significant business values. Experience in Product managed machine learning or data platforms / tools (not internal tooling)
- Besides strong written and verbal communication skills the incumbent should be able to demonstrate strong Executive Presence and able to influence business decisions through insightful interpretation of analytical findings. Good knowledge of managing complex projects while working with internal cross-functional teams and / or 3rd party vendors.
- Ability to preempt changing business requirements and build the team for the future through upskilling and / or external hiring. Strong presence across various Data Science, Data Engineering, AI, ML forums involving experts from the bank and the industry. Manage billing & operate within the FRP or obtain exception approvals while supporting business critical activities.
- 2+ years of experience in a Cloud-native product (either hyperscaler or startup on cloud). Enterprise software - experience with considering security & compliance in decision-making. Worked with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to deeply understand the Data Science workflows and needs. Enthusiasm for proactively seeking, exploring, and developing use cases for new data and/or tools to improve business performance.
