Job Overview
As a Registration staff member, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our Hospital by managing patient registration processes and ensuring accurate documentation. This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE position in which your attendance and job retention within the first 90 days will be evaluated to convert you into a full time team memeber. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm.
Duties
- Greet and assist patients during the registration process
- Verify patient information and insurance details
- Enter patient data accurately into electronic health records systems
- Handle medical collections and process payments
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Experience
- Prior experience in medical office management or clinic settings
- Proficiency in medical terminology and ICD-10 coding
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in medical collections is a plus

This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.
