Hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Indianapolis, IN

Job Description

• Is responsible for department shift schedules and attendance.
• Ensure needed maintenance coverage for plant equipment in all departments.
• Make recommendations on needed replacement of equipment/components, based on factual data from the CMMS.
• Assign daily jobs and work orders at direction of Manager.
• Manage / Support Department GMP, USDA, Safety and PSM systems.
• Inspect jobs in process and at completion to ensure standards of workmanship and safety are maintained.
• Help implement CI Programs to include Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Leader Standard Work. Suggest and design process improvements and safety improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ year of supervisory experience preferred
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Able to perform electrical repairs such as motor wiring, motor starter fuses, and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs
