Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Risk Leader. This role is crucial in ensuring that our Fintech Operations as well as Trade Operation processes are robust, secure, and compliant with internal Credit Risk policy, industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management principles, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Responsibilities

• Risk Assessment and Mitigation
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential operational risk elements within the identified business(es).
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation So Ps to minimize exposure from Operational Risk events, and ensure business continuity.
  • Regularly review and update Operational Risk Management policies and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policy requirements and internal/external standards.
• Incident Management
  • Oversee the investigation and resolution of Operational Risk events/incidents.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Risk Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare and present detailed risk reports to senior management at defined frequency.
  • Utilize risk management tools to analyze and monitor risk trends.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
• Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Ops Risk Managers.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Conduct regular cross-functional training sessions and workshops with adjacent units [Operations, Credit Risk, Internal Audit etc] to enhance the team's skills, understanding and application knowledge.
• Stakeholder management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Business, Credit Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Product, and Internal Audit.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on operational risk management objectives and initiatives.
  • Steer regular meetings and updates with all relevant stakeholders to discuss risk management updates and outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced Risk Analytics professional to lead the Risk Analytics vertical to be based out of our head office at Bengaluru India.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
• Proven track record of managing operational risk events, mitigation, and compliance activities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
