Role Summary & Description:

The Production Management IRO team is seeking an experienced, hands-on Head for our India division who can use their technology skills to build and manage the India based infrastructure support teams .

We run a mix of cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure and have a team spanning from technically proficient engineers to non-technical employees. This person will recommend and implement technology solutions, manage vendor governance and relationships, provide employee training and support.

Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge in IT service management, experience managing staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge from an infrastructure perspective. You will play a key role in improving efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

Role Requirements:

Oversee all of infrastructure management managed by Internal and Vendor teams
Oversee the health of our production environments through operational leadership of our external and cloud technology platforms
Provide technical leadership to ensure all external systems have reliability and uptime appropriate to customers’ needs
Collaborate with Risk and Audit with items relating to governance and regulatory oversight
Lead the response to production issues
Improve technical operations processes and monitoring to address bugs quickly
Encouraging innovation to develop a continual improving implementation approach at a deliverable pace, making sure that the priorities of stakeholders are delivered and support customer outcomes
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to colleagues, including management level.
Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills and ability to manage India and functional management teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree Required; Masters or MBA a plus
20 + years of experience in the IT/ IT services industry, cloud architecture and/or technical operations with 10 years’ of experience in leadership role
Experience with best of breed infrastructure solutions, including exposure to Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services
Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
Demonstrated experience managing a 24/7 response team
Knowledge of technical, operational and cultural structures required to scale teams in a high-growth environment
Experience in the Financial Services vertical highly desired
