We’re looking for a Java Software Engineer to:
- design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
- apply a broad range of software engineering and Dev Ops practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
- ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
- build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
- technical ownership of applications and software components
- understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
- share knowledge and expertise with colleagues , help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities
Your team
In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be part of Settlements and Confirmations America Crew under global Operations IT stream supporting clearance and settlements for Cash EQ and FI products.

Your expertise
- bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
- ideally 12+ of proven experience in Java , Spring, Database, messaging tech like Kafka, EMS etc.
- solid design, coding, testing, and debugging skills; experience improving older code bases as well as in using modern design patterns
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you like to figure out how things work
- experience in building cloud native applications or migrating applications to cloud a big plus
- proven experience in software development for a financial service industry preferred
- interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
