Experience

• High school diploma/GED AND 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare facility.(Preferred)

Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior
- Provide individualized instruction or tutoring as needed
- Implement strategies to support students with diverse learning needs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the subject area(s) being taught, such as daycare, physical education, tutoring, child welfare, math, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students of different backgrounds and abilities
- Organizational skills to plan lessons, prepare materials, and keep track of student progress
- Adaptability to meet the individual needs of students
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with new teaching methods and educational trends
