Job Description:

• Prepare and send invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Process incoming payments and accurately apply them to customer accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies or disputes.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and issues.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Monitor and report on key AR metrics, including days sales outstanding (DSO).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable and collections is a plus.
