Job Description:

• Process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment issues and improve processes.
• Maintain vendor files and update information as necessary.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Monitor and maintain accounts payable metrics and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to accounts payable and vendor management is a plus.
