About the role

We’re looking for analytical and passionate people to join our proven team as Associate / VP, Origination and Execution, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role will be responsible for deal origination, execution and syndication efforts of Alta’s private capital markets capabilities in Southeast Asia.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

• To lead deal origination, structuring and execution efforts across all asset classes that the PCM team deals with (including, but not limited to, equities, credit, funds, real estate and other alternative investment assets)
• To lead and manage the Investment team that evaluates opportunities/issuers that are seeking funds on Alta
• To drive and assist in any aspect of the deal process and provide any operational support as required including liaising with legal and compliance counterparts
• Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of transactions
• Development of various types of financial models for valuation of capital raising transactions
• To assist the sales team in overall deal syndication and distribution efforts
• To assist in and attend to general business development, marketing, networking and events
• Work closely with the Product team to optimise the deal management process via technological tools

About you

• At least 5-8 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Deal Advisory, Transaction Services and/or VC/PE
• Strong in company and industry research, financial analysis and modelling, and client pitches
• Strong maths skills and well-developed business sense
• Well developed corporate relationships among the private / start-up scene in the region will be an advantage
• Experience and/or interest in Financial Technology (“Fintech”) startups and private investments
• Interested in learning about different industries and passionate about private capital transactions
• Infinite energy and drive to succeed
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
