CLOUD ENGINEER
The candidate has responsibility for installing, maintaining and supporting Cloud and Networking infrastructure. He/She will have to lead a Cloud Infrastructure deployment project and be able to support this project along the way. The engineer must solve deployment and networking issues. In addition, able to communicate complex technical solutions and issues to non-technical clients.
He/she will be involve in design/verification and maintaining networking cloud deployment. Maintains operational hardware and software, and works on projects to support customers, support implementation of cloud infrastructure projects, upgrade to new and/or improved equipment, or other networking projects. The engineer must work closely with clients’ engineers and vendors. He/she is responsible for support, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues that have been escalated by the Customer excellence including network/equipment issues at the customer site
In addition, the engineer must be able to explain technical solutions and issues to non-technical clients. He/She will have to lead a deployment project and be able to support this project along the way.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong Experience in Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud Environments, doing deployment, monitoring, maintaining, migration, etc.
- Experience working with Linux/UNIX/Ubuntu and Windows environment
- Two to three years experience in a Cloud role or technical-related position.
- Experience in IT infrastructure and virtualization platforms including Hyperconverged (HCI) technology
- Experience with open-source technology(Open Stack), software development, and system engineering including Kubernetes and Containers.
- Experience with environments of VMware, Nutanix, Red Hat, etc.
- Have knowledge and understanding of Dev Ops, CI/CD methodologies
- Fast learner of new products and technology
- Strong Personal skills to engage directly with IT and/or C-level executives to explain the overall deployment project
- Able to develop and present technical solutions and configurations for infrastructure as a service with our clients including cloud instances, storage, networking, OS, database, and managed services.
- Proficient with Routers & Switches (hands-on)
- Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC.
- Have networking experience and internet protocols, including VLAN, bonding, SDN, VPN, Dynamic & Static Routing, Subnetting etc.
- Hardware knowledge including servers, GPU, Storage, etc.
- Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and No SQL, and related data stores such as Postgres is desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
- Certification as a Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Certification, and/or Open Stack Administrator Certification a plus. (Other cloud-related certifications are also a plus.)
- Certification in Networking Technology is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals.
- Interest in Cloud Engineering/Technologies/Solutions and its impact on greater business practices.
- Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.
- Ability to work together in a team-setting environment
- Good communicator, detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough
- Self-motivated and sharp focus on goals and KPI
- Must be able and willing to travel (including international travel) as needed, and must have a valid Passport
- Able to work night and weekends as required by supervisor
Experience:
- Public Cloud: 1 year (Preferred)
- Private Cloud: 1 year (Preferred)
- Networking: 2 years (Preferred)
- Linux OS: 2 years (Preferred)
- English (Required)
- Mandarin (Preferred)
- Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (Preferred)
