Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support:
- Partner with sales teams to identify potential clients and analyze their data-related business challenges.
- Assist in developing sales strategies and technical approaches to secure new business opportunities.
- Conduct compelling technical presentations, live product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (Po C) engagements.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand business benefits.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business goals and challenges and aligning them with appropriate data analytics solutions.
- Provide recommendations on best practices for data integration, visualization, and analytics.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, including detailed solution designs, ROI analysis, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of RFPs and RFIs.
- Work with internal engineering and product development teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging data analytics technologies.
- Provide feedback to product teams for enhancements based on client input.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, presales, or a similar role within the data analytics or business intelligence domain.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales capacity.
- Experience working with analytics platforms like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik View, or Looker.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, visualization tools, and business intelligence concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data management tools.
- Basic programming knowledge (Python, R, or similar) is preferred.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to craft and deliver persuasive presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong consultative sales approach and a client-first attitude.
- Highly analytical and solutions-driven mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or AWS Certified Data Analytics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
