Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Booking Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of travel arrangements, accommodations, and events. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to utilize their administrative skills to ensure seamless and efficient bookings.
Duties:
- Coordinate and manage all travel, accommodation, and event bookings in a timely and organized manner.
- Research and recommend suitable options for clients and guests.
- Negotiate rates, availability, and other details with vendors and suppliers.
- Handle any issues or disputes that may arise during the booking process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all bookings, including client information and payment details.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of various travel destinations, accommodations, and transportation options.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all bookings align with company policies and objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Booking Agent or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Ability to travel, if necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
- Fluency in multiple languages is an asset.
