Job Vacancy: Hotel Supervisor at Selvática, Gili Air
Position Overview:
Selvática is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of both our front desk and back office, ensuring exceptional service and smooth operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality to create memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Front Desk Management
Welcome and assist guests at arrival and departure.
Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly.
Oversee the reservation system and online booking platforms.
2.Back Office Operations
Maintain accurate guest records, financial transactions, and employee files.
Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
Coordinate with departments like housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth hotel operations.
3.Housekeeping support
Clean rooms to maintain high standards, especially during busy periods or staff shortages.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared and ready for guests.
4.Daily Orders & Deliveries
Place and verify orders for supplies and materials.
Check deliveries for accuracy and quality, especially when the manager is unavailable.
5.Closing Procedures
Perform daily and monthly financial closing tasks, ensuring accurate cash handling.
Oversee all end-of-day reporting and secure financial records.
6.Project Management
Monitor and report on projects assigned by management, ensuring timely completion.
7.Concierge Services
Provide local activity and tour recommendations.
Assist guests with bookings for activities and services.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory role in hospitality.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
