Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager to join our team based in Jakarta. As the Regional Learning and Development Manager you will provide a key interface between country management teams and HQ L&D to embed a strategic and progressive, best practice approach to training, learning and development in the Region. Working in partnership with managers and employees, you will provide professional, customer-focused training, learning and development advice and solutions that support and build relevant organisational and people capabilities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Understand the potential of training, learning and development to add value to individuals and the business.
- Strong learning needs analysis and research skills.
- Flexibility and pragmatism and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Experience in designing and project managing blended and integrated learning solutions - concepts, principles, practice and thought leadership.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present clear, well- structured reports and briefs.
- Experience of building effective relationships with internal clients and external providers to enable the delivery of fit-for-purpose, cost-effective solutions.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Maintains a high attention to detail, including expert proofreading skills.
- Enthusiastic, passionate, team player, hard worker.
Required Work Experience
- Working in a complex L&D function at manager level or equivalent.
- Managing projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- Developing innovative approaches to complex problems.
- Developing and implementing group-sponsored development programmes, e.g. e-Learning systems, development planning etc (desirable).
Required Qualifications
- Education: BA / BSc Degree in HR or equivalent preferred, but not essential.
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 Qualification (desirable).
Required Languages
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Fluency in another language is beneficial, preferably French or Portuguese (desired).
