Mechanical Completion Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Define in liaison with the PM the fabrication scope of work, deliverables and requirements, based on Contract scope of work, relevant Company specifications and other governing documents.
- Familiarize with specifications / procedures and routines.
- Participate in development of the overall project schedule and ensuring adherence to proposed plan
- Issue weekly and monthly progess reports for Completion as required by the PM and Site Manager
- Perform regular inspections of Equipment and follow up the progress
- Be fully responsible for all MC/Commissioning/Preservation aspects of the dedicated tasks and have complete understanding of the specified scope of work and technical requirements in the contract.
- Clarify any technical uncertainties with the client.
- Developing an appropriate pre-commissioning/commissioning strategy
- Developing an appropriate commissioning manual
- Manage the team and appointed subcontractor
- Identifying resources for handling the assigned tasks
- Manage relationship with the client in relevant areas
- Secure input from the client’s operations teams
- Secure progress reporting
- Maintain completions interface as appropriate to commissioning
- Participate in the multi-discipline reviews required in the safety reviews including HAZID, HAZOP etc.
- Report and notify management for fault and deviations
- Monitor and verify the quality of contractor’s Mechanical Completion activities
- Raise punch for deviations and non-conformances and ensure their closure
- Arranging or participating to meetings as required
- Participate as required in project closing activities.
- Participate in the evaluation of working methods and conditions thereby minimize the risk for workplace and environmental incidents and thereby minimize the risk for quality issues
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, or electrical/instrumentation from reputable university
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the Completion Management System for Oil & Gas for Offshore.
- Familiar with PIMS will be advantage
