Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed mine plans and designs, considering safety, efficiency, and environmental impact.
- Oversee day-to-day mining operations, ensuring adherence to plans and optimizing processes for maximum productivity.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Manage mining projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with geologists, surveyors, and other engineering professionals to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
Having a valid English language certificate is a requirement, with an IELTS test score of at least 6.0 overall and no component falling below 6.0
Successful completion of a Skill Assessment from the appropriate Australian skill assessing authorities (Engineers Australia) may be required, depending on the location of your placement.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mining engineering, with a strong background in mine planning and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
