ABOUT THE ROLE
Process Solution Team Lead, will be related to the Sales and Marketing of Merck’s Process Solutions products and services, maximizing value from the sale of products, and identifying and fostering alliances and new business opportunities and will be leading a team in Indonesia and Export Countries. Also, builds and maintains long-term relationships with customers & internal stakeholders, increasing revenue spent per customer, and identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities. Creates demand for the organization's products and services for the customers.

• Responsible territory is Indonesia & Export Countries included Pakistan, Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia • Achieve Process Solutions financial goals and implement Process Solutions Strategy into responsible territory

Sales Functions
• Responsible territory is Indonesia & Export Countries included Pakistan, Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia • Achieve Process Solutions financial goals and implement Process Solutions Strategy into responsible territory
- Establish strong customer relationships and support the team on protecting and growing Process Solutions Sales
- Directly in charge of identified accounts in Indonesia and working with the regional supporting team to get the alignment of each task/action
- Generating and maintaining a territory plan & customer mapping
- Accurate and on-time sales & forecast reporting and participation in technical training as required
- Building territory knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical market trends
- Control operational and promotional spending and expenses, and ensure the accuracy and transparency of payment
- Managing direct reports for Nationwide commercial updates
- Establish strong customer relationship
- Providing regular market intelligence on competition activity and providing input to superiors for the development of annual budget and sales forecasts
- Keeps records and reports on all activities, prepare reports of sales forecast, order intake forecast, customer visits, business transactions, and submit to superior on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Coordinate with customer service and support functions team to provide updated information about related customers and dealers to keep accounts
- Monitor and review sales achievement weekly. Create reports and analyze periodic sales trends, reporting them to the management
- Accurate and timely submission of report
- To develop the self-development plan as well as those for the team in alignment with Process Solutions APAC People strategy
- Managing and coaching the sales force's performance
- Support on improving the team to keep focus on the adopting of the business objectives
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
- Sales Manager covering Pharmaceutical Raw Materials
- Based in Jakarta - Indonesia
- Familiar with manufacturing processes in pharmaceutical industries in classic pharma and biologics
- Understand and able to explain at an intermediate level how to apply Process Solutions Products and Services
- Understand and able to explain at an intermediate level several types of Pharma Raw Material importation licenses into Indonesia
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia with strong Influencing skill
- Able to travel for regular domestic business trips
- Analytical and good sense of commercial aspect
- Able to effectively prioritize and put plans into action
- Results-driven, self-starter, able to flexibly adjust to changes, trends and new technologies
- Strong negotiator and communicator across functions, hierarchies, and geographies
- Bold and vibrant personality
