Our current portfolio in Indonesia includes work to support health care providers and communities prevent and respond to communicable and non-communicable diseases, advance digital health innovation, and address global health security priorities.
PATH is seeking a Project Coordinator based in Jakarta who will manage “Primary Health Care (PHC) Transformation Cadre Integration Project. The Project Coordinator will manage day-to-day project activities, oversee timely implementation of the workplan, and coordinate with project partners and stakeholders to facilitate implementation of project activities timely and effectively. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively oversee, coordinate, implement and monitor the implementation of the project, in close coordination with the Senior Project Advisor, the Operations Manager and the PHC Integration Advisor
  • Facilitate the development of quarterly project workplans and coordinate with the PADM in developing the quarterly budget for in-country activities.
  • Share weekly progress updates to the project director and senior management team (SMT).
  • Partner closely with MOH in implementing and monitoring the project.
  • Represent the project with the MOH and PHC consortium, attend regular PHC-related meetings and take and share notes on key outcomes with the project director and senior management team.
  • Lead on policy analysis and advocacy at the national and sub-national levels; develop strategy and activities to influence policy.
  • Oversee the work of implementing partners and contractors on a day-to-day basis, including holding weekly meetings and documenting their progress against set deliverables. Provide feedback on this progress as part of weekly project updates.
  • Prepare project technical documents, presentations and reports.
  • Anticipate and flag any potential challenges to project implementation and inform the project director and SMT well in advance.
  • Facilitate annual review and planning workshops/meetings with project partners.
  • Actively participate in project results dissemination through meetings, conferences, webinars, roundtables, publications, etc.
  • Supervise the MEL officer and program/gender officer with a dotted line for the administrative officer.
  • Support the project admin and finance staff to develop job descriptions, scopes of work and other technical documents.
  • Provide translation support as needed
  • Travel to program sites as requested
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Required Experience:
  • Advanced degree (Medical, Masters or Ph D) in health or social sciences
  • A minimum of eight (5) years of experience working in the health sector with demonstrated experience in implementing innovative health programs
  • Demonstrated leadership, project implementation, and management skills across effective implementation approaches
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of the health care system, health policy, legislation and advocacy pathways.
  • Strong skills in development and conduction of training events, meetings and other project-related activities
  • Strong skills in development of frameworks for effective monitoring and evaluation events, tools for monitoring and evaluation relevant to Project goals and objectives
  • Ability to develop and implement the advocacy strategy for support implementation of Project goal and objectives
  • Skills and experience organizing teams to produce high-quality materials, project documents, reports and analytical reviews on planned deadlines is necessary, along with experience in monitoring and evaluation of implemented programs
  • English language fluency required
  • Bahasa Indonesian language fluency required
  • Ability to travel domestically
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Must have legal authorization to work in Indonesia.
