Overview: About the job:
To strengthen our growth, we are looking for talent as Regulatory Affairs Compliance Manager

What can you expect?
Own the regulatory compliance work and regulatory work for each innovation projects for food and beverage business in Indonesia to run formula & ingredient compliance assessment, develop product labelling specifications and regulatory support for CAST, establish a claim council and assess the claims request and develop substantiations by working cross functionally. Understand the business needs and proactively support speed to market for Indonesia region including import and export projects.
In addition to this , there are several regulatory changes in Indonesia, lead the implementation process to execute successfully with mininum financial impact by combining implementation plan with other commercial plans.

• Engagement – collaborate with PPGA for Horizon scanning for Indonesia and provide regulatory updates for Indonesia on new/change food regulations
• Acting as Point of Contact & Pepsi Co representative for any regulatory requirements relating to food and food contact materials.

Responsibilities: We will count on you to:

• Engage with R&D team and be able to acquire required regulatory package (product composition, ingredient specification, labeling information.. etc.) from the data system.
• Assess and ensure compliance of finished products and raw materials with country of sale’s regulatory requirements.
• Identify information gaps and work with cross-functional teams to obtain the necessary information to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements and final regulatory approval.
• Provide all necessary support for any regulatory deficiencies may have
• Develop Product Label Specification via PEP system and tools in accordance with local regulatory labelling requirement
• Review product label and provide regulatory approval
• Provide regulatory advice/consultant to support product claims and launch
• Provide regulatory approval of advertising materials including claims
• Portfolio impact assessment for new /revised regulations
• Provide regulatory support for CAST SAP (data digitization) including formula compliance assessment and approval, create label set and approval

Qualifications: What you need to have?

• University degree (Food Technology/Science, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition)
• 3-5 years experience in Regulatory Affairs
• Excellent communication skills (including ability to interpret complex subject matter and summarize requirements, communicate with people of all levels)
• Ability to integrate into and influence different levels of the organization
• Ability to manage regulatory issues and provide insight to the business

What makes you stand out?

• Proven experience with Indonesia Regulatory Affairs and Government relations (Halal Requirements, etc)
• Previous working experience in FMCG (Food & Beverage) Industry
• Understanding of Indonesian and SEA Regulatory Affairs Policies and Standards
