About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Liven, you will play a critical role in designing and developing high-quality web applications that power our innovative hospitality platform. With 5–8 years of experience in frontend development, you'll leverage your expertise to create responsive, performant, and scalable web solutions. This role demands hands-on development experience and the ability to drive technical excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

Lead the development of key web application features, ensuring high quality, scalability, and responsiveness.
Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless and user-centric web experiences.
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and other technical issues to ensure the best user experience.

Qualifications

5–8 years of hands-on experience in frontend web development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating core development expertise.
Expertise in Java Script and Type Script, with a strong track record of using frameworks like React or Angular effectively.
Proficiency in modern frontend development tools and libraries such as Redux, Webpack, or Babel.
Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles, with experience in CSS frameworks like SASS or LESS.
Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs or Graph QL into web applications.
Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Mocha.
Hands-on experience with Git workflows and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Deep understanding of optimizing web applications for performance and scalability.
Proven experience working in cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and driving project success.

Good to Have

Experience with server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js.
Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other design tools for collaborating on UI/UX designs.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
Exposure to microfrontend architectures.
AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud deployment experience.
