ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Design & develop new products
• Investigating and implementing improvements to existing product range
• Overseeing external testing of products
• Training sales and appropriate internal staff in technical aspects of lighting and product knowledge
• Assist sales and clients with technical queries
• Support and provide technical documentation to the Operations Manager (OM)
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in English, both verbal and written
• Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
• Proven experience (4-5 years) in designing and developing products (not prototypes) is a must
• Knowledge in Solidworks and/or Autodesk Inventor
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Indesign
• Understanding of 3D design and 3D printing
• Ability to work to project deadlines
• High level of attention to detail
