AVS Simulator are looking for an experienced and proactive Legal and Compliance Officer to ensure our company adheres to the Indonesian laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, with in-depth knowledge of Indonesian corporate, commercial, and regulatory compliance requirements. This role requires a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and is confident in handling legal matters independently.

Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, ideally within corporate or regulatory environments.
Extensive knowledge of Indonesian legal systems, including corporate, labor, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in industries such as finance, technology, or manufacturing with specific regulatory frameworks.
Familiarity with corporate governance, anti-bribery, and data protection regulations in Indonesia.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compliance programs.

Job Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all applicable Indonesian laws and regulations, including but not limited to corporate, employment, commercial, and industry-specific regulations.
Legal Advisory: Provide legal counsel on corporate matters, contractual agreements, policies, and business operations to minimize legal risks.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure legal accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks, provide recommendations for mitigation, and manage compliance issues across various departments.
Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and updating of internal policies to ensure they align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Compliance Audits: Conduct internal compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures, ensuring continuous adherence to legal standards.
Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing and resolving any legal disputes, regulatory inquiries, or investigations, liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal documents, compliance efforts, and regulatory filings.
Training & Awareness: Educate staff on compliance and regulatory requirements through training sessions and updated guidelines.
Liaison with Authorities: Serve as the point of contact with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely submissions, permits, and other necessary legal filings.
