Started as a passion project, Expat. Roasters is a specialty coffee producer driven by a desire to produce an exceptional, unpretentious brew, from the ground up. We work closely and respectfully with local Indonesian farmers and producers to source the finest local product to compliment their nomadic collection of beans from around the globe.
Due to several internal movements, we are currently seeking an effective and passionate Social Media Intern to handle social channels/content for the company, brand, and product in expectation to generate demand hence develop Expat. Roaster overall business.
What you will be doing

• To actively monitor and engage with all forms of Social Media.
• Drive and manage social media from content creation.
• Source and produce engaging content.
• To act as one of the key points of contact for social media queries.
• Compile regular social media reports.
• Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization.
• Assist with the writing/editing and proofreading of content.
• Attend internal and external events as required.
• Assist with the imagery and video archives.
• Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
• Perform administrative duties as required by the Team in support of its operations.
• Actively participate as a team member to reach team’s goals.
• Effectively managing own time and resources.
• Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices.

What you will bring along

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor in Communication, Marketing, New Media, or relevant field; Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Exceptional multitasking and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A polite, engaging personality.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
• Have at least skill on taking pictures, making IG story videos, and standard editing.
• Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness is preferred.
• Demonstrable social analytics tools knowledge.
• Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
• Have knowledge about FB Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Business would be beneficial.
• An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them.
