We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Social Media Manager to join our team and lead our mission of nurturing lifelong learners across Indonesia. As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible to strategize the plan & produce contents for all of the Gentem brands’ social platforms, which not only represent the company but also capture potential prospects to become leads. This position will be in charge to first identify our target audiences personas in the digital environment. Not only that but also understand the latest trend which is relatable to our target personas.
This person should have analytical skills as well in order to identify what is working & what is not working and move quickly. This person should always follow the latest trend within all of the social media platforms and also what is trending within different personas.

What You Will Be Doing
- Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals and objectives.
- Content Creation: Develop, curate, and manage engaging content for our social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
- Community Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer feedback. Foster a positive community and add value to the audience’s experience.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, track, analyse, and report on performance metrics. Use insights to improve engagement and inform future strategies.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, events, and brand initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Implement changes as necessary to stay ahead of the competition.
- Advertising: Manage and optimise social media advertising campaigns to maximise ROI.
- Brand Advocacy: Identify and engage with brand advocates and influencers to amplify our message.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is typically required.
- Proven minimum 5 years experience in Social Media and Brand Marketing
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, including brand positioning, market research, consumer behavior, and product development.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative brand campaigns that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the brand from competitors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively communicating brand messages internally and externally.
- Proven experiences in creating Social media content pillar and content production.
- Strong Project Management & organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Genuine passion for branding and a strong understanding of the brand's values, mission, and target audience.
- Experience with paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Linked In Ads)
- Knowledge of SEO and content optimization
- Familiarity with influencer marketing strategies
- Experience in photography or videography
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and crafting digital campaigns that engage and motivate
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization, as well as with external vendors
- A “can do” attitude with flexibility, reliability, and attention to detail
- Creative thinker and team player
